Yvonne Jeanette Mcgee

Yvonne Jeanette McGee, 92, passed away February 5, 2014 in ManorCare Sinking Spring. She joins her husband, Neville R. McGee, and her only child, Beverly A. McGowan in Heaven.

Born September 13, 1921 in Brooklyn, she was educated in the New York area and lived there, working as a clerk for the NYC Sanitation Dept., until her retirement.

Yvonne enjoyed traveling the world, visiting London, Paris, Italy, Dover, Aruba, and many other countries. Her family will always cherish the special trips they took with her.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family deeply and helped raise three of her grandchildren. She was a caring friend, an understanding listener, and a beautiful, spiritual person. She will be forever missed.

Yvonne will live in the hearts and memories of her brother, two sisters, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and dear friends.
