Yuvette L. Orischak

Yuvette L. (Fisher) "Veta" Orischak, 83, formerly of 101 Sunnyfield Drive, Ruscombmanor Township, died January 18th at 7:20 pm in the Beverly Manor, Exeter Township, where she had been since February 15, 2003.

She was the widow of Joseph J. Orischak, Sr., who died March 26, 1965.

Born in Altoona, Blair County, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Minnie (Gates) Fisher.

She was a waitress for 40 years at various local restaurants.

Orischak is survived by five daughters, Joan (Fry) Stern of Bensalem, Pa., Shirley A. (Orischak) Gentry of Hamburg, Josephine M. (Orischak) Rivera of Gibraltar, Cindy L. Orischak of Fleetwood and Brenda L. (Orischak) Jacobs of Exeter Township.

She is also survived by five sons, Joseph Jr., of Monroeton, Bradford County, John E. of Exeter Township, George E. of Sanford, North Carolina, Michael J. of Fleetwood and Lawrence P. of Bethel, Pa.

Additional survivors include two step-daughters, Linda (Gates) Gould of Macungie, Lehigh County and Sharon (Gates) Galloway of Duncansville, Allegheny County.

There are also 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 10:00 in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing from 9:00am until time of service. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Tuckerton.
