Yuff Fisher

Yuff Fisher died April 1, 2015 in his home. He was the husband of Phlame L. (Stamm) Fisher who passed away May 8, 2001.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Anthony and Despina (Giovanellis) Fisher, aka, Psaradelis.

Yuff was a 1946 graduate of Reading High School. He operated The Family Luncheonette from 1947 to 1952 and served briefly in the army during the Korean War. He was a self-employed barber in Kenhorst for 35 years.

Also a musician, Yuff played drums with big bands and combos, last playing with The Townsmen East for over 20 years. He was predeceased by a brother, Louis, in 1975.

His survivors included two nephews, Greg and Nick Fisher, two Great nephews, Greg's son, Louis Fisher and Nick's son, Nick Fisher, one Great niece, Nick's daughter Nicole Fisher, one great- great nephew and one great- great niece, John & Isabella, children of Louis and Sandra Fisher, and one great-great nephew, Jacob, son of Nicole Fisher.

Service will be Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 11am in Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to: Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church at the above address. Edward J.
