Yolanda T. Warg

Yolanda T. Warg, 78, Miami, Fla., formerly of Laureldale, died Aug. 28 at 10 p.m. in South Miami Hospital, Miami.

Her husband, John C. Warg, died in 1977.

Born in Italy, she was a daughter of the late Fritz and Anna T. (Sicker) Meitzner.

Warg was employed as a seamstress by Geisler Knitting Mills, Hazleton, and was last employed by Jo-Anne Fabrics, Miami, retiring in 2001.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah A. Warg and Diane M. (Warg) Slayden, both of Miami.

Other survivors include a sister, Lucy (Meitzner) Correll, in Montana; and two grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Schuylkill County.
