Xyanjaleese Ehrgood

Xyanjaleese "Xye" Ehrgood, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 19, 2025. Born in Reading, she was the beloved daughter of Juan Ortiz, Jr., and Margarita Ehrgood.Â

She enjoyed taking drives, and listening to music.   Xye loved her family, and loved spending time with them.Â

In addition to her parents, Xye's memory will be cherished by her "second mother" Jazlyn Davis; her siblings: Samuel Ehrgood, Shydalae Ehrgood, and Gazelina Ortiz, Nathaniel Ortega, Joelijah Ortega, Juvion Ortega, Jaedalyn Ortega, and Jasiah Ortega; as wells as her grandparents: Juan Ortiz, Sr., Michelle Ehrgood, and Stefanie Davis. She is predeceased by her brother, Antonio Ortega, and her grandmother, Dora Ortiz.Â

A Celebration of Xye's life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611.

The family encourages those in attendance to wear red, as it was Xye's favorite color.Â
