He enjoyed watching baseball games with his daughter, Tammy, and routed for the Phillies and the other Philadelphia teams. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and listening to the oldies and classic rock. He was member of the Mt. Pleasant Fire Company.
Left to treasure his memory is his daughter, Tammy, with whom he resided; his sister, Shirley Ritter, widow of Marvin, of Myerstown; and his nieces, nephews, and their families: Jeff Ritter and children, Holton and Nevaeh; Kristie, wife of Any Grier, and children Samantha, Benjamin, Asher, Eliana, Zachariyah, and Ethan; Sabrina, wife of Tyler Rankin, and children Ryan and Anthony; Susie Leinbach and daughter Erica; Lorrie Luckenbill; and David Evans.
