Wilson I. Fidler, 91 formerly of Reading and of E.C.C. Retirement Village, Myerstown, died November 11 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
His first wife, Garnet M. (McDowell) Fidler died in 1969, his second wife, Catherine (Ewanick) Fidler died in 1990.
Born in Reading he was the son of the late Irvin and Rebecca (Schlegel) Fidler.
He was a machine operator for Mrs. Smith Pie Co., Pottstown retiring in 1980.
Wilson was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.
He was a WW II veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by 2 sons Robert W., Pennsburg and Dennis R., Richland. There are also 4 grandchildren Michele L. (Fidler) Grumbine, Myerstown, Brian K. Fidler, Richland, Chad D. Fidler and Darren K. Fidler, both of Richland and 4 great grandchildren, Madison R. Fidler, Gavin K. Fidler, Jillian G. Fidler and Jaydon D. Grumbine. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
