Wilson E. Graeff, 92 of Tilden Township died April 15th in his residence. His wife, Thelma I. Berstler died August 9, 2008. Wilson was born in Tilden Township and was the son of the late Wilson F. and Sallie M. (Wagner) Graeff. He worked as a core maker for Fairmount Foundry, Hamburg for 46 years retiring in 1981. Wilson was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of Mohrsville Church of the Brethren. He was a member of the Union Fire Company #1, Hamburg and the Centerport Fire Company. Wilson is survived by 4 daughters: Ruth Ann wife of Walter Seidel, Perry Township, Sandra wife of Richard Hertzog, Muhlenberg Township, Joyce wife of Thomas Longenecker, Upper Tulpehocken Township and Karen wife of Edward Barchie, West Reading and 1 son Gene husband of Lucia Graeff, Virginia Beach, VA., 10 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Elmer Graeff, Tilden Township, and Charles Graeff, Myerstown. He was predeceased by a great grandson, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20 at 11:00 AM from Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, 1543 Shoemakersville Road, Mohrsville. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. A viewing will also be held Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg, PA. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Garden, Maidencreek Township with Military Honors accorded by Ray Master Post 217, Topton, PA.
