Willodean Czechowski

Willodean Czechowski, 80 of Laureldale, died October 16, 2008 at 4:58 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been a resident since September 5.

She was married to the late Louis Chester Czechowski.

Born September 16, 1928 in Brunswick, GA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Alma Mae (Dent) Westbery.

Willodean was employed as a secretary for Branch Motor Freight, Reading, then as a cook for Charleston Senior Citizen's Center in Chesapeake, WV and most recently by Muhlenberg Elementary Center, last working in May.

She was a past President of Teamster's Women's Auxiliary, Reading and sang in the Sweet Adalines, Reading.

Willodean was an avid bingo player and bowled on Championship Leagues in West Virginia and Las Vegas, NV.

Surviving are six children, Pamela J. (Kehs), wife of Mark A. Cianciosi of Reading; Linda G. (Kehs), wife of Wesley H. Goss of Temple; Anthony H., husband of Cathy (Douglass) Kehs of Sinking Spring; Gary E., husband of Kim (McAllister) Kehs of Centerport; Melanie A. Kehs, wife of Michael J. Iezzi of Laureldale and Sharon Basch of California.

In addition, there is a sister, Louise (Westbery) Dorsey of Chesapeake, WV also surviving.

There are ten surviving grandchildren, Nicholas, Jameson, Tiffany, Erica, Hunter, Kelly Christopher, Daniel, Tennille and Cameron and three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Cameron, Paige and one on the way.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Willodean was predeceased by two sisters, Frankie Mae (Westbery) DiTripani and Lucille Westbery.
