William S. Yonkovitch

William S. Yonkovitch, 84, of Reading, died February 4, 2013, in Berks Heim.

He was the husband of M. Louise (Mitchell) Yonkovitch.

Born in Connelsville, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Spinik) Yonkovitch.

William was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran.

He was employed for 25 years by Carpenter Technology, retiring in 1990.

William was a member of St Margaret's Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two grandchildren, Janelle Yonkovitch, Daytona Beach, FL and Jason A. Yonkovitch, fiancé of Ali Selby, Ephrata; two nieces and one nephew.

William was predeceased by his son, Andrew S. Yonkovitch; two brothers, Stephen Yonkovitch and John Yonkovitch and one sister, Betty Derecola.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret's R.C. Church, 925 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601. Burial will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery. Edward J.
