William I. "Worm" Graul Jr., 72, of Sinking Spring, passed away November 15, 2016, in ManorCare, Sinking Spring.
He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Firing) Graul , whom he married May 4, 1968, and celebrated 48 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late William I. Sr., and Mary A. (Shimanski) Graul.
He was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School.
William was a United States Army Reserve veteran.
He was employed by Arlington Hoffert's Auto Parts and Adams Tire and Battery Service as a sales representative.
William was co-founder of the Road Romans Rod and Custom Club, Mopar Limited- Reading Division, and Pretzel City Rod and Custom Car Club. He loved his cars, whether it be early hot rods or muscle cars, but his true passion was his love for Mopars. He also enjoyed oldies music and socializing with his car buddies. He was a member of the Goodguys Rod and Custom Car Club and a lifetime member of the National Street Rod Association.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his unadopted son and long time friend, Tony Dinatale, Mohnton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his two half-sisters, Leah Singley Neilson and Charlotte Bear.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor David Reinwald officiating at Kissinger's Church, 715 Berkshire Blvd, Wyomissing. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
