William Richard "Dick" Wagner, Jr., 83, of Laureldale, died February 18, 2011 in Berks County Home - Berks Heim.
He was the husband of Doris Marie (Bennicoff) Wagner, whom he married October 25, 1952.
Born, April 13, 1927, in Reading, he was a son of the late William Richard, Sr. and Esther Daisy (Keim) Wagner.
Dick served in the U.S. Navy, during World War II.
He built and installed elevators for 42 years and was employed with Westinghouse, Otis and York Gregg for 42 years, retiring March 26, 1990.
Dick was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading.
He was a life member of Temple Fire Company Auxilary and a life member of American Motorcycle Association.
Dick enjoyed gardening, hunting, skiing and riding motorcycle.
Also surviving, is a son, Craig R. Wagner of Spring Township; a sister, Dorothy M. Mosser of West Reading; a niece and a nephew.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
