William A. Reider

William A. Reider, JR, 72 of Perry Township died in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar-Crest on November 10, 2017. He married Beverly R. (Rau) Reider on November 22, 1969. Bill was born in West Reading and was the son of the late William R. Reider, SR and Helen (Ulrich) Reider of Tuckerton.

He was a 1963 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and graduated from Albright College in 1988 with a Bachelors of Art Degree in accounting. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as Naval Corpsman.

Bill retired from the Allentown Housing Authority in 2014 as the comptroller. In addition to his mother and wife, two sisters, Patricia, wife of Allen Ziemba and Christie, wife of Terry Conrad and several nephews and nieces survive Bill. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 15 th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral starting at 11:00 a.m. at Zion's Church, 770 Zion's Church Road, Hamburg, PA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Gifts, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
