William H. Reed

William H. Reed, JR, 56 of Bernville died April 23rd in his residence. He was the husband of Anita K. (Hoss) Reed. Bill was born in Lebanon and was the son of the late William H. Reed, SR and Doris L. (Hacunda) Reed of Versailles, Kentucky. He was a 1974 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School. He was a fabricator for Custom Composites in Shartlesville for many years. Bill was a member of the Shartlesville Fire Company, Strausstown Rod & Gun Club. He was an avid hunter, pool player and NASCAR fan. Bill trained horses for 30 years. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by 4 children, David Hoke, JR, Brooke husband of Lindsay Hoke, Ashley Nuss and Paula Marie Reed and 4 grandchildren Ethan, Torin, Nodin and Madison. Bill is also survived by 3 sisters, Beverly (Reed) wife of Douglas R. Wagner, Chrystal L. (Reed) Wheatley, and Holly (Reed) Lambdin Martin, 1 brother, Daniel C. Reed and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday evening beginning at 6:30 PM in the Shartlesville Fire Company, Shartlesville, PA Immediately following the memorial service a reception and visitation with the family will be held until 9:00 PM.
