William H. Oswalt, JR., 86 of Shillington died October 30th in St. Joseph's Hospital, Bern Township. He was the husband of Norma M. (Kantner) Oswalt, Shillington recently celebrating 24 years of marriage. William was born in Fleetwood and was the son of the late William H. Oswalt, SR. and Grace E. (Reitnouer) Oswalt. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Bill worked as a truck driver for Lentz Milling for 15 years from where he retired. He then drove truck for Empire Wrecking Company for seven years, last working in 2013. William was a former member of Wagner-Good Post #216, VFW, Hamburg and a current member of American Legion Post, #625, Fleetwood, PA. In addition to his wife, William is survived by a daughter, Vicki Oswalt, Rouses Point, NY, two sons, Russell P. husband of Pamela J. Oswalt and Scott A. husband of Michelle Oswalt and a brother, Roy A. husband of Lorna Oswalt all of Mohrsville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and was predeceased by a son William T. Oswald, Sr. on April 15, 2017, a granddaughter, Heather on April 16, 2013 and a sister Jean Clouser. Funeral arrangement are private and at the convenience of the family.
