William A. Norton

William A. Norton, 91 of Tilden Township, Berks County, and formerly of Decatur, Alabama died February 8, 2018 in Penn State Health St. Joseph's Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy (Faust-Anspach) Norton. William, "Bill" was born in Courtland, AL and was the son of the late Willis and Cora (Randolph) Norton.   Bill was a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, Paratrooper Special Forces, 82 nd Airborne. Bill served with distinction in WW II, Korean and Vietnam War. He was a Purple Heart Recipient while serving in Korea. Bill was the owner/operator of Norton's Auto Repair in Decatur, Alabama. He last worked for the Decatur City School System as a mechanic before retiring to Pennsylvania. Bill enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking. He was always proud of his garden. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his daughters; Dorothy (Norton) wife of Bill Cabaniss, Denise (Norton) Roden, Alabama, step-daughters; Susan (Anspach) wife of William Senft, Debra (Anspach) Billman, Hamburg, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. 2 sisters predeceased Bill.
