William L. Heck

William L. Heck, 87, of Wyomissing, died November 3, 2013, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Sylvia M. (Troutman) Heck.

Born in Glenside, he was a son of the late Carl C. and Katherine (Lonaberger) Heck.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII.

William was employed as a welder for Dana Corporation for 37 years, retiring in 1985.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by two children, Dennis W., husband of Sherrie Heck, Clifton, VA and Dana C., husband of Janice Heck, Draper, UT; two grandchildren, Jamie Bellis and Kristyn Penn and three great-grandchildren.

William was predeceased by his daughter, Denise L. Heck; his three brothers and his one sister.
