William N. Koch

William N. Koch, 81, passed away on January 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Recla) Koch. They shared 56 wonderful years together.

Born in Hazelton, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Young) Koch. William received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Lebanon Valley College, as well as a Master's degree in Education from Bloomsburg University. He taught in the Cocalico School District for 35 years and loved every minute of his career. William was known to love sports, and even coached for various high school and college teams. He was an avid golfer, and basketball player. He enjoyed spending time outside, whether in his garden or doing yardwork.

William will be remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laugh, larger than life personality, and the love he held for his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife, Pauline, William's memory will be cherished by his children: Tammy Marsh (Jeffrey Marsh), Natalie "Beth" Lesher (Mark Lesher), and Jeannette "Jen" Armbruster (Robert Armbruster); and his grandchildren: Colin Miller, Dillon Marsh, Paige Lesher, Joshua Lesher, Willie Armbruster, and Zach Armbruster; as well as his sister, Marilyn Brownwell.

At the request of the family, services for William will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William's honor to the Cocalico Education Foundation.
