William J. Burns

William J. Burns, 72, died November 13, 2011 in his Reading residence.

His wife, Kay L. (Behler) Burns, passed away in 2003.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John William and Helen B. (Kauffman) Burns.

William retired from the Wyomissing Water Authority.

He is survived by two sons: John, husband of Debra Burns, Reading; Richard, husband of Wendy Burns, Reading; his brother, Earnest Burns, Reading and his sister, Judith Hammer, Erie. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren survive him.

A memorial service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
