William James Hower III

William James Hower III, 52, of Blakesly, PA, passed away on October 5, 2026. Born in Reading, he was the son of William J. Hower II and Sharon K. Border, companion of Brian Hertzog. William was the loving companion of Katie Kurtz.

William had attended Reading High School.

He was an outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing alongside his son. He also loved working with his hands, spending time woodworking and creating beautiful things through crafting.

In addition to his mother and his companion, William is survived by his children: Christian, Benjamin, Andrew (Mellisa), Todd, William, Megan Henry and Amanda Willet, as well as his grandchildren: Aaron, Kaylee, Scarlett, Skyler, Christian, and Todd. Also surviving are his brothers, Tim Green and Todd C. Hower. 

Services will be private.
