William F. Hoffman

William F. Hoffman, 83, of West Wyomissing passed away on May 31, 2023 after a brief stay in the Reading Hospital. He was the son of the late William H. and Edna Hoffman.

Bill was a 1957 graduate of Wilson High School and a 1961 graduate of East Stroudsburg State University.

He had a long rewarding career in the Wilson School District where he had a positive influence on countless students as a Junior High / Middle School Social Studies teacher and Basketball Coach.

In retirement he continued to be a lifelong fan of Wilson sports. His memory of details regarding local history, sporting events, and Wilson graduates dating back to the 1960's astounded all his friends.

The funeral service will be held Friday, June 23, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading with entombment at Charles Evans Cemetery to follow. The viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
