William Himmelberger

William H. Himmelberger, 61, of Shillington, and formerly of Laureldale, died February 9, 2014 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

He was the long-time companion of Debbie McDonough.

Born January 30, 1953 in Reading, he was a son of the late Howard, Sr. and Ruth (Gardner) Himmelberger.

Bill was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

An avid sports fan, he loved the Vikings and the Philadelphia and Reading Phillies. He also loved to cook.

Surviving are many cousins, from both sides of his family.

Bill was predeceased by his two brothers, Howard "Butch" Himmelberger, Jr. and Roy Himmelberger.

A Joint Memorial Service will be held for Bill and Butch Himmelberger, Saturday, February 22nd at 1 p.m. in Kuhn-Stizel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road. Burial will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park, at a later date.
