William H. Wagner

William H. Wagner, Jr., 85, formerly of West Reading, died September 1, 2011 in Village of Sullivan Trail Assistant Living, Easton.

His wife, Celia H. (Barcz) Wagner, died on April 15, 2010.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late William H., Sr. and Katie Louise (Stitzel) Wagner.

He was a graduate of West Reading High School.

William was employed as a carpenter by Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading were he was a former Treasurer of the Sunday School and Church Council member.

William came from a family of 12 children.

He is survived by his son, William H. III, husband of Marcina Wagner, Hollywood, FL and his daughter, Rita C., wife of Barry W. Gaul, Easton; four sisters: Mary O'Barow, Oley, Doris Herrold, Boyertown, Emily Jean and Anna Bohn, both of Wyomissing.

William is also survived by three grandchildren: Chad Gaul, Joshua Gaul and Matthew Gaul and two great-grandchildren: Gavin Gaul and Ashleigh Gaul.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
