William T. Gregor

William Thomas Gregor, Sr., 94, of Spring Township, died July 9, 2009 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Dorothy H. (Schaeffer) Gregor of Spring Township, whom he married July 3, 1993.

Born in East Greenville, PA on June 26, 1915, he was a son of the late Philip, Sr. and Elmina (Wentzel) Greger.

He was employed in the construction industry for his entire working career.

William was a member of St. Luke's E.C. Church, Shillington.

He is also survived by two children: William T., Jr., husband of Joyce Gregor of Mechanicsburg and Donna (Gregor) Jessum of Boyertown and two step-children: Patricia M. (Eckenroth), wife of Jerre B. Smith Jr., of Spring Township and Lynn L. (Eckenroth), wife of David H. Campbell of Spring Township.

Other survivors include five grandchildren: David, Janet, Renee, Clint and Alan and four step-grandchildren: Michelle, Brett, Jonathan and Jennifer.

There are also seven great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a step-daughter; Sharon E. (Eckenroth) Evans, who died in August, 2001.

Services will be Monday at 3:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the funeral home.
