William Grab

William "Bill" Grab, III, 53, of Sinking Spring, died August 4, 2011 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the fiance of Julia E. Goheen, Shillington.

Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late William E. and Grace A. (Marshall) Grab.

He was a 1977 graduate of Wilson High School.

Bill worked for over 24 years for Carpenter Technology Corporation, Reading.

He loved his cats, the beach, roller coasters and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Bill was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was compassionate, caring and a wonderful provider for his family. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his two children: Jeremy L. Grab, fiance of Tahnya N. Heffleger, Temple and Holly M. Grab, fiancee of Matt J. Maurer, Sinking Spring. Also surviving are his sister, Debra M., wife of Michael L. Richardson, Muhlenberg Township; his grandson, Dominic J. Mendez-Grab; his niece, Sabrina C. Beavens, N.H.; his nephew, Jason E. Beavens, Reading and his former wife, Tina L. Grab, Sinking Spring.

A Memorial Service will be Monday at 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
