William F. Field

William (Bill) F. Field, 91, of Wyomissing passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of the late Marian Field for 57 years.

Born in Wyomissing, he was the son of late Neil and Laura (Henning) Field.

Bill attended Wyomissing High School. He was a proud Marine serving from 1949 – 1956. He retired from Western Electric in 1986. He also coached mite football for over 20 years in Wyomissing and West Reading. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football fan and enjoyed traveling with his wife.

Bill has been preceded in death by wife, Marian, and son, Guy Field. He is survived by three children: Karen Field Rogers of Georgetown, Delaware; Brian Field of Evergreen, Colorado; and Donna Coplan of Reading; grandchildren: Whitney Wightman, Jeff and Tori Field, Kate Atkins, and Megan and Matt Rogers; and great-grandchildren: Kaylin and Karina Wightman, Connor Atkins and Addison Pope.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area care of the Pennsylvania Game Commission at 110 Kleinfeltersville Rd, Newmanstown, PA 17073. Edward J.
