William E. Weller

William E. Weller, Jr., 77, of Mohrsville, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019, in Reading Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen J. (Hedge) Weller. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late William E., Sr., and Ruth E. (Goulding) Weller. William was a graduate of South Plainfield High School, NJ, and attended some college. He was a member of Salem Berne United Methodist Church, Hamburg. William was employed for over 25 years as a book publishing representative at HarperCollins Publishers. He used to be a race car driver, driving for VSCCA and SCCA. William loved camping, fishing, classic cars, and model trains. He enjoyed going to Disney World and to the shore. Most of all, William loved his family and spending time with them. In addition to his wife, William is survived by two daughters: Wendy E., wife of Joseph Munsey, Mohrsville; and Sherri M. Moore, fiance' of Joseph Giacobello, Morgantown. Three grandsons; Andrew Gerber, Alex Gerber, and Westin Moore; three step granddaughters: Brenda Munsey, Allison Munsey, and Lindsey Giacobello; and a brother, Paul Weller, Chicago, also survive him. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 12 noon, at Salem Berne United Methodist Church, 292 Salem Church Road, Hamburg, PA 19526.
