Memorial services for William G. DeMatteo, 50, of King Street, Laureldale, will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
DeMatteo died May 2 after a one-vehicle crash on Route 222 the former Road to Nowhere in Muhlenberg Township, officials said. He died in Reading Hospital shortly after the crash, but his name was not immediately released.
Born in St. Paul, Minn., he was a son of the late William and Frances (Scott) DeMatteo.
DeMatteo was employed as a mechanical tester by Carpenter Technology Corp., retiring in 2003.
A graduate of Holy Name High School, he attended Pennsylvania State University.
DeMatteo was a past treasurer of the Ukrainian Club of Reading.
Surviving are two sons, Peter W., Bethlehem, and Gregory S., Salisbury, Md.
Other survivors include two sisters, Carol J. (DeMatteo) Sowers, Bethlehem, and Patricia A. DeMatteo, Ithaca, N.Y.
