William Scott Delong

William Scott Delong passed away July 15, 2014 in St. Joseph's Medical Center, Bern Twp.

He was the husband of Sandra (Mason) Delong whom he married February 14, 2006. Born March 19, 1975 in Reading, he was the son of Robert W. Delong of Alsace Twp. and Cindy (Ritter) Kucier of Oley.

He was a graduate of Oley Valley High School and attended Berks Technical Institute for graphic design.

In addition to his parents and wife William is survived by is two children: Ryan Delong of Fleetwood and Autumn Delong of Exeter Twp. and two sisters: Katie Kucier and Summer Ritter, both of Oley and his paternal grandparents: George And Pauline DeLong.

The Memorial Service will be held at Zion Spies Lutheran Church, 310 Spies Church Road, Reading PA 19606 on Friday July 25th, at 6:00 pm. The service will be followed by a reception and time for sharing of memories. Following fellowship time, walk with the family on the meditation path in the Zion (Spies) woods and experience the nature that Bill so loved. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions can be made to Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547 to help defray funeral expenses. Should you choose to send flowers, the family requests those that can be replanted.
