William C. Cauff

William C. Cauff, 83, of Magnolia Avenue, Riverview Park, died Aug. 24 in his residence.

He was the husband of Kathryn K. (Smith) Cauff.

Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late William J. and Myrtle B. (Guinther) Cauff.

Cauff had been employed for 38 years as a machinist by the Reading Railroad, retiring in 1979.

He was a member of Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, Temple.

Cauff was a former chairman and past president of the Reading Railroad Machinist Union.

He is also survived by a son, William C. Jr., Temple.

There are also three stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service. Contributions may be made to Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, 402 North Temple Blvd., Temple, Pa 19560. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
