William H. Bryan

William H. Bryan, 78 of Hamburg died May 27th in the Weston Sr. Living Center, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Fern M. (Heckman) Bryan who also resides in the Weston Sr. Living Center. William was born in Birdsboro and was the son of the late David H. and Edith A. (Spencer) Bryan. He worked 40 years as a freight conductor for the Reading Railroad retiring in 1995. In addition to his wife William is survived by; 1 daughter, Sharon Steffy, Kutztown, 3 sons; William R. Bryan, Honolulu, Hawaii, David E. Bryan, Horsham, PA. and Timothy C. Bryan, Harrisburg, PA. 2 step sons; Jerry L. Herber and Roy A. Herber, Hamburg. 3 grandchildren and 2 step grandsons. He was also predeceased by a sister; Shirley E. (Bryan) Howe. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Township.
