William Bonetti

William Bonetti, 86, of Reading, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 11, 2008 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Lillian E. (Moretto) Bonetti.

Born in Villamagna, Abruzzi, Italy, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Giacintucci) Bonetti.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

William was an avid golfer and loved the great outdoors.

He was a shoemaker by trade for 17 years.

William was employed by Carpenter Technology for 30 years as a grinder, retiring in 1984.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Nicholas T., widower of Winifred (Eaton) Bonetti, Reading, and a daughter, Sandra L., wife of Douglas Loy, Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include a brother, Albert, husband of Dorothy Bonetti, Muhlenberg Township, and a sister, Nancy L. Lombardo, Shillington.

Four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive him.

William was predeceased by an infant son, Thomas Bonetti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 237 Franklin Street, Reading, PA 19601. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
