William B. Barrick

William B. Barrick, 86, of Wyomissing Hills, passed away on April 8, 2025 at Keystone Villa, Douglassville.

He was the husband of Patricia M. (Eppley) Barrick for 63 years.

Born in Johnstown, he was the son of the late Telford and Helen (Eversole) Barrick.

William was a graduate of Johnstown High School and earned his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.

He was an electrical engineer for GPU for 32 years retiring in 1994.

Bill loved golf, running, triathlons (he was a multi-time Ironman athlete), and was the Berks County chess champion many times.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Karen M. Hauck, Denver, PA, and William A. (Jodi) Barrick, Shoemakersville; three grandchildren: Ryan, Kaylee, and Adam Hauck; and two great grandchildren, Mason and Alexander Hauck. He was predeceased by his sister, Bonnie Crossen.

Services will be Monday, April 14, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading with entombment to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
