William (Bill, Al) J. Allushuski, 78, passed away on August 21, 2021, at his Lower Heidelberg Twp. home.
He was the husband of Cora E. (Sausser) Allushuski.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William and Luise (Irion) Allushuski.
He was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1960.
Bill was a lineman and later a supervisor at Met-Ed for over 40 years. After his retirement he continued to work as a contractor.
Bill was a Mason and a member of Teutonia Lodge No. 367, Reading, and a member of the Reading Liederkranz Social Club. Bill enjoyed spending time at his cabin upstate where he liked to hunt, fish, and spend time with his wife and family. He liked to camp, sail, watch sports on TV and go to the casinos in Atlantic City. Bill and Cora enjoyed traveling to Germany, Hawaii, Florida, and Montana, where their grandson lives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Bryan Allushuski, Clearwater, FL, two stepchildren, Donald (Lynn) Miller, Ephrata, and Stephanie (Carl) Muthard, Kutztown, four grandchildren: Elana, Aaron, Erica, and Collin; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Owen. Four siblings: Sister Sue Achenbach, brothers Jim, Mike, and Terry, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him.
Per Bill's wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Met-Ed's Customer Assistance & Referral Evaluation Services Program (CARES) or West Lawn United Methodist Church in Bill's memory. Edward J.
