Wilbur G. Krow, 91, of West Lawn, died April 2, 2007 in Reading Hospital, where he had been since February 17.

His wife Gladys M. (Gumpert) Krow died September of 1998.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late D. Frank and Ivy L. (Jacobs) Krow.

He was a designer for Richmaid Kitchens for 16 years retiring in 1981.

Wilbur was the lead singer of the Chordsmen Quartet which performed at Carnegie Hall. They also won the talent show on the Arthur Godfrey TV Show in 1953.

Survivors include one son, Grant R., Philadelphia and one sister, Ethel (Krow) Miller, Reading. Two grandsons, Chris Krow, Wyomissing and Ethan Krow, Collegeville; and 2 great grandchildren Aidan and Ashlyn also survive him.

Graveside services will held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Albright College c/o Endowment Fund P.O. Box 15234 Reading, PA 19612-5234. Edward J.
