Wendy May Rothermel

Wendy May Rothermel, 57, of Reading, died January 12, 2011 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late John Llewellyn and Ruth Eleanor (Snyder) Rothermel.

Wendy was a 1971 graduate of Fleetwood High School.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator with Fleetwood Shirt for 26 years and most recently as a cashier at Kutztown University with AVI Food Systems for two years.

Wendy enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her two cats.

Surviving is a sister, Fay J. (Rothermel), wife of William L. Moatz of Ruscombmanor Township and a brother, John L., Jr., husband of Carol (Keller) Rothermel of Richmond Township.

Also surviving is a nephew, John A. Rothermel.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
