Wayne P. Williams

Wayne Phillip Williams, 73, died February 10, 2008 at 10:41 am in his Temple residence.

He was married August 20, 1955 to the late Mildred Arlene (Wounderly) Williams, who died January 4, 1994.

Born in Reading on August 28, 1934, he was a son of the late Earl and Dorothy (Levengood) Williams.

He was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School.

Wayne was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

He was employed for more than 50 years as an office clerk with Five Star International, Reading, retiring August 31, 2007.

Wayne is survived by three children; Cindy M. wife of Terry W. Guest of Union Township, Penny A. wife of James D. Walker of Warwick Township and Darryl W. husband of Carol A. (Hinnershitz) Williams of Fleetwood.

Other survivors include a sister, Phyllis wife of Ronald Entzminger of Wyomissing and six grandchildren; Jessica D. Walker of Warwick Twp., Devin W. Guest of Union Twp., Corey W. Guest of Union Twp., Aaron N. Williams of Fleetwood, Danielle R. Williams of Fleetwood and Ryan C. Walker of Warwick Twp.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Pamela A. Walker, who died September 22, 1991.

Services and Burial will be private in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
