Warren W. Weber

Warren Wilson Weber, Sr., 84, of Muhlenberg Township, died April 5, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Gloria A. (Heckman) Weber, whom he married June 13, 1942.

Born at home in Muhlenberg Township on May 30, 1923, he was a son of the late James F. and Esther (Ochenwadel) Weber.

He was a 1941 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Warren was an Army Veteran of WWII.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Township.

Warren was a part owner and vice-president of Muhlenberg Dairy, Inc., Muhlenberg Township, until 1983.

He was also a part owner of Plaza Dairyland, Muhlenberg Township for 37 years, retiring in 2003 as the President.

Warren was a member of the Patriotic Order of the Sons of America and a member of the American Legion, Post #0622.

He is also survived by two sons; Warren W. Jr., husband of JoAnne M. (Nawa) Weber of Perry Township and Ronald L. husband of Kimberley A. (Redcay) Weber of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include four grandchildren; W. Marc husband of Rocio Weber of Cleona, Lebanon County; Jody M. (Weber) wife of Todd Mulder of Somerville, Mass.; Nicole L. Weber of Temple and Andrew R. Weber of Orlando, Florida.

There are also three great grandchildren; Claudia R. Weber, Gabriel J. Weber and Alessandra S. Weber.

He was predeceased by six siblings; Anna E. Weber, Bertha E. Weidenhammer, Mabel E. Ritzman, Christian A. Weber Sr., Henry J. Weber and James F. Weber.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4201 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Road, (Muhlenberg Township) Reading, PA 19605, with Rev. Gerald Arndt officiating. A viewing will be held in the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
