Warren L. Fisher, 85, Cumru Township, died Oct. 25 at 4:48 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient six days.
He was the husband of Virginia M. (Royer) Fisher.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Frank and Vesta (Gottshall) Fisher.
Fisher was employed for 32 years as a supervisor in the Reading Co. carshops, retiring in 1972.
From 1972 to 1974, he was a representative of the Middle West Railroad and from 1974 to 1980, Fisher was superintendent of Speno Rail Service, East Syracuse, N.Y.
Fisher was a consultant for Eastern Car Construction, Pottstown, from 1980 to 1988 and from 1988 to 1989 was an engineering consultant for STV Engineering, Boston.
He was employed from 1989 to 1990 as plant manager and vice president of Reading Rail Car.
Fisher was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Olivet Reformed Church, Reading.
Fisher is also survived by a son, Ronald A., New Haven, Conn.; and a daughter, Janice A. (Fisher) Isaacson, Flying Hills.
Other survivors include a brother, Robert Fisher, Shillington; and a sister, Virginia (Fisher) Bross, Reading.
Also surviving are a half brother, Douglas Fisher, and two half sisters, Jackie (Fisher) Garaboli and Patricia (Fisher) Burkowski, all of Reading.
There are also five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
