Warren E. Goodhart

Warren E. Goodhart, 89, of Muhlenberg Township, died November 28, 2010 in Berks Heim.

His loving wife, Jane K. (Eagle) Goodhart, died April 8, 2009. On the day of Warren's passing they would have been married 64 years.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William F. and Katie R. (Rhoads) Goodhart.

He was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School.

Warren was a Production Control Manager for Willson Products, Reading, for 44 years, retiring July 8, 1982.

He loved gardening, woodworking and traveling. He was a member of Community Seniors, Mohnton.

Warren was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII in the European Theater, 80th Division, earning three bronze stars.

He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn A., wife of John F. Duncan, Reading and his sisters: Jacqueline Moyer, Reading and Betty Simmon, Kutztown. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Mark E. Rightmyer, Steven P., husband of Ginny Rightmyer, Johnny F. Duncan and his great-grandchild, Cory S. Rightmyer.

He was predeceased by three siblings: William Goodhart, Paul Goodhart and Mae Frank and one grandson, Eric D. Rightmyer.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
