Warren C. Bingaman

Warren Carl Bingaman, 85, formerly of Sinking Spring, died August 3, 2012 in his residence at Stone Ridge Village, Myerstown.

He was the husband of June C. (Potteiger) Bingaman.

Warren was predeceased by his first wife, Louise E. (Frill) Bingaman, who died October, 1976.

Born in Reading, PA on September 25, 1926, he was the only son of the late Henry and Estella (Carl) Bingaman.

He was a 1943 graduate of Reading High School and a 1947 graduate of Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute.

Warren was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Sinking Spring.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Warren was employed 29 years as an outside erector with Textile Machine Works, Wyomissing. He was later employed 15 years as a supervisor with the former Talbot Knitting Mills.

He last worked four years with Omega Medical before retiring in 1992.

Warren was a former treasurer of the Liberty Fire Company, Sinking Spring.

He was a life member of the Teutonia Lodge #367 F & AM.

Warren is also survived by two children: John F., husband of Elizabeth F. (Faulkner) Bingaman and Susan J. (Bingaman), wife of Thomas Wentzel, all of Wyomissing and a step-daughter, Jo Ann Harris of Millersville.

There are also six grandchildren: Joshua, Jill, Anne, Julie, Henry and Jacob and two great grandchildren: Stella and Bruce.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 10th at 4:30 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
