Ward J. Swan, 81, of Lenhartsville, passed away on February 22, 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Ann C. (Hagberg) for 32 years. Born in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Hiram and Anna Swan. Ward graduated from Springfield High School and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War where he received an honorable discharge in October 1954. Upon his discharge, he was employed as a construction supervisor for over 40 years. He also operated a self-owned antique shop with his wife on the weekends. Ward loved being outside with his dogs and watching the birds. One of his favorite things was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors: Wife, Ann; son, Ward J., husband of Karin L. of Shoemakersville; daughter, LeeAnn M. Bower, wife of David of Whitehall; Grandchildren, Elliot, Owen, and Jayce. He was predeceased by siblings William, Edward, Joseph, Robert, and Elizabeth and his first wife, Betty (Reidenhour) Swan. Services: No services will be held at this time.
