Wanda R. Schaeffer

Wanda Rothermel Schaeffer, 81, formerly of Blandon, died June 1st at 1:55 pm in Kutztown Manor, where she had been since February 28, 2000.

Born in Maidencreek Township, she was a daughter of the late Fremont and Katherine M. (Rothermel) Schaeffer.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood.

Schaeffer was a Navy Waves Veteran of WWII.

She is survived by a nephew, Glen A. Schaeffer of Ruscombmanor Township.

Services will be Friday at Noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Dr. Barbara Kershner-Daniel officiating. Viewing Friday 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery.
