Wanda Jarzyna

Wanda (Wojtal) Jarzyna, 65, of Exeter, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, while in Krakow, Poland. She was born and raised in Poland, moving with her family to Berks County in 1994, and settling with them in Exeter Township.

Wanda was the perfect mother and grandmother, particularly devoted to her grandchildren. A great homemaker, she loved to cook traditional Polish foods, and bringing her family together. A bank teller at various Wells Fargo branches in Berks County, she was a school teacher and principal in Poland, which was her pride and true passion.

Wanda is survived by her children: daughter Monika Touri, wife of Omar, Exeter; and sons Konrad Jarzyna, husband of Rebecca, Sinking Spring; and Mariusz Jarzyna, West Lawn. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Sarah and Hannah Jarzyna, and Maya, Nadia and Elias Touri.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter Wanda Touri.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Wanda will be held Sunday, October 21, at 3:30pm at St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606.
