Walter Westley Skimski

Walter W. Skimski, 65, of Reading, died May 20, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Devoted husband to Charlene S. (Biehl) Skimski, whom he married June 27, 1969. Walter is also survived by two sons: Christopher J., husband of Melissa S. (McCubbin) Skimski of West Manchester Township, York County and Jason A., husband of Amanda L. (Rank) Skimski of Pottstown and three grandchildren: Addison (6), Gavin (5) and Tyler (3), whom he loved deeply.

Born in Reading, PA on May 21, 1948, he was a son of the late Walter and Blanche E. (Bowers) Skimski.

Walter was a 1966 graduate of Reading High School.

He was a sales representative for over 20 years with Pro Keystone Garage Door Company, Temple.

Walter was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

Services will be held Friday, May 23rd at 6:00 pm in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held Friday from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the funeral home.
