Walter H. Labe

Walter H. Labe, 76, died March 2 at 6:02 a.m. in his residence on Meade Street.

He was the husband of Amy R. (Hayes) Labe.

Born in Reiffton, he was a son of the late Walter C. and Anna S. (Ludwig) Labe.

Labe was employed for 25 years as clerk by the Postal Service, retiring in 1989.

He was an Army veteran.

Labe is also survived by a daughter, Linda L. Labe, Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Betty J. (Labe) Payne, Stony Creek Mills.

Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
