Walter W. Howe

Walter W. Howe, 80, of Madison Street, Shillington, died of natural causes Feb. 8 in his residence.

His wife, Esther M. (Gottschall) Howe, died in September 1988.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Bleiler) Howe.

Howe had been employed for 20 years as a roofer with the Roofers Union Local 30, retiring in 1980.

He is survived by a sister, Marian (Howe) Bem, Sinking Spring; a half sister, Dorothy (Paolino) Wade, Kenhorst; and a half brother, Anthony Paolino, Muhlenberg Township.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
