Walter C. Heckman

Walter C. Heckman, 93 formerly of Tilden Township died in Laurel Center on Monday, August 06, 2012, where he had been a resident since November 4, 2009. Walter's wife Irene E. (Leibensperger) Heckman died December 1, 2009. Walter was the son of the late Guy and Anna Mae (Bond) Heckman. Walter was a self employed electrician most of his life. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hamburg. Walter is survived by his brother in law, Victor husband of Grace Leibensperger, Hamburg and a nephew, Rodney K. husband of Sherry Leibensperger of Reading. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 10th at Noon, from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg, PA. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. Family and friends are invited to his viewing which will be held on Friday from 11:30 AM till time of service.
