W. Harold Pfautz

W. Harold Pfautz, 75 died September 11th at 3:10 p.m. in his residence at 3327 Orchard Place, Laureldale.

He is survived by his wife Emily Kathryn (Arnold) Pfautz who where married August 31, 1956.

Born at 3329 Orchard Place, Laureldale he was a son of the late J. William and Florence (Ost) Pfautz.

He was a 1946 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Pfautz was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

He worked for a number of years at Steelco (Spring Township) as an acetylene burner until his retirement in 1990.

Pfautz is also survived by a son, William Harold Jr. husband of Juli M. (Mitchell) Pfautz and a daughter, Barbara K. (Pfautz) wife of Armand "Gus" Gustafson all of Laureldale.

Other survivors include a brother, J. Henry husband of Margaret (Lonaberger) Pfautz of Hyde Park and a sister, Florence E. (Pfautz) wife of C. Frederick Eben of Laureldale.

He also was survived by four grandchildren, Daniel W. Pfautz, Holli M. Pfautz, Kristin N. Gustafson and Andrew C. Gustafson.

Services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Sunday evening 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
