Vivian M. Smetana

Vivian M. Smetana, 85, of Blandon, PA, died January 15, 2015, in Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Robert J. Smetana, Sr., died April 25, 2000.

Born in Dallas, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Vivian (Pace) Lloyd.

Vivian is survived by three sons, Robert, husband of Patty Smetana, Elm Grove, LA, Gary, husband of Elizabeth Smetana, Florence, SC, and Mark, husband of Jean Smetana, Huntingtown, MD; her daughter, Michelle, wife of Greg Townsley, Fleetwood, PA, She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey, husband of Teres Smetana, Blue Springs, MO.

She was also survived by eleven grandchildren: Erik Smetana, Jamison Perkins, Meagan Duke, Austin Smetana, Janelle Townsley , Jennifer Smetana, Sean Townsley, Joshua Smetana, Chandler Smetana, Corey Smetana and Jeffrey Smetana, Jr. and one great-grandson, Blaine Duke and one step-great-grandson, Braden Duke.

Services will be Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private. Friends may call Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
